Since we were kids, two things have driven us: travel and heavy metal. By the time we were 12 or 13, our lives were already beating to the rhythm of screaming guitars and pounding drums.
That restless spirit pushed us to explore the world from a very young age. In 1991 and 1992, we were already wandering through North Africa; in 1993, we hit the U.S. West Coast, making must-stops at The Roxy, Whisky a Go Go, and, of course, a few drinks at the legendary Rainbow Bar. In 1994, we got lost in Australia and New Zealand, and by 1995, we had reached the end of the world: Ushuaia.
And that was only the beginning. As Spanish rock legends Barón Rojo once sang: “I get the picture… bro, I’m into rock and roll”… and, in our case, traveling too
For us, metal and travel have always been inseparable passions. That’s why we created this new adventure: Viajeros Metaleros.
After traveling to 100+ countries and sharing our stories on our blog “Mi Baúl de Blogs”, we felt it was time to create a place where we could also travel through the music that has always been with us.
Viajeros Metaleros unites these passions forever. Here, we explore the real-life locations of heavy metal history around the world: from iconic pubs to legendary streets, from statues to cemeteries where the gods of metal rest.
Places where this immortal genre left its mark. After 35+ years together, we still travel the world and rock out with the same passion as day one.
This website is our anthem — a place to dream, travel, and pay tribute to the music that’s been the soundtrack of our lives.
